Works where you chat: WhatsApp Web, Instagram, and X.
Keyboard shortcut Alt+V / Option+V toggles the overlay (Chrome; you can remap in extension settings).

How to use:

Install the Chrome extension and sign in from its toolbar icon.
Open https://web.whatsapp.com—or refresh WhatsApp Web if that tab was already open.
Click inside the message field where you reply to your friend.
Press Alt+V / Option+V to open the gallery overlay.
Describe the image or GIF you want and press Enter to search.
Hover over the thumbnails and click the result you want to attach.
